As most people that follow our blog will know, we have been working with our good friends Amber Performance on the GTR wide body build, and it’s starting to gather a little bit of pace.

When Jason got hold of the authentic GT3 carbon Fibre aero kit, it was pretty badly damaged in some key areas, front bumper, rear bumper, front fenders, with one of the fenders also incorrect, but time is greatly on our side and this build is in no rush, whilst Lee Ayre at LA paints re constructs all of the panel work to their former glory.

With any great build like this, it needs the perfect ingredients, and we have always said wheels maketh the car, and it doesn’t get any better than our selection for this build, the Trafficstar STR, it really is a beauty, and for this particular GTR GT3 build, we have gone for Matte Black centre, Gloss black inner barrel and outer reverse rim, with liquid bronze for the centre cap and hardware, which gives a little clue to the colour the GTR will be finished in.

More details will follow, as the build progresses, but for now why not indulge in these rather beautiful pictures of the 13x21 Trafficstar STR.

We may not have been at the Ford Fair show at Silverstone 2016 the past weekend, but our good friends JW Racing & Amber Performance were, showcasing some of the VAD products, particularly on their all new ford Focus RS MK3.

All of the demo cars have substantial mods, the Mustang we will cover in another post, as this is one eco tech Mustang that ticks all of the boxes.

JW Racing Mustang

The Focus RS MK3, they haven’t had long, but it hasn’t stopped Jason Hawes the proprietor, making some serious mods already, air box, remap, brakes, intercooler and other performance related goodies we will touch on in later posts, when we discuss the full BHP upgrade that JW Racing can offer, for the RS brigade.

For the show it was important to get the look of the car right, and Jason has worked wonders with his graphic design for the car, running from the front to the rear of the car, it really does stand out, and it’s given the RS a very racer look, which was the intention of course.

JW Racing Ford Focus RS

The wheels have been the next on the list for an upgrade, Jason did spec the car with the Ford Forged light weight wheel, but he always knew he would swap them, as we have been in discussions for a while, regarding, size, finish and design, and we had a few designs to choose from and as VAD work extremely closely with Avant Garde (ag wheels) , it was a no brainer, especially since the launch on the all new ART wheel design, which is short for Advanced Rim Technology, which is basically a flow formed cast wheel, which is as light and as strong as a forged wheel design, but less than half the cost.

With the wheel range chosen, it was time to look at the size, design and the finish, the size we chose to run was the 19”, so the standard tyres that came fitted to the Focus could be utilised, next up the hardest decision, choosing the design, we were torn with the M652 & M621, so Jason did the usual VAD trick and ran with a different design on one side of the car to the other, the M621 has been finished in brushed and silver, whilst the M652 has been finish in the Black and polished, we wanted the Anthracite, but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to wait for the wheels in this colour, but the overall look is just what the car needed, with both cars going down a storm at the show.

With lots further mods being discussed; we are looking forward to sharing the development of this awesome little beast.

Dominik Bahn and Carbostuff Engineering, it seems this is one name that just will not go way, and every day we are contacted with another new story of theft, fraud and deceit, the most upsetting part is this is being done to fellow petrolheads all over the world, with customers and contacts especially from Australia and New Zealand, making contact with us daily now.

Everyone that we speak to has a similar story, and everyone thinks they are a fool for handing over their hard earned cash, for zero return, but when someone advertises what you want, and the industry standard is to pay up front for custom manufactured parts, you pay and expect to take delivery of your parts, unfortunately Dominik Bahn has already planned out what he will do when he gets your money, absolutely nothing, well we are about to change that with this post.

since our last blog, his bank account details have changed, he now has a new account, apparently the TAX office have claimed the account and all of its funds, allegedly.

Since our last blog post, we have heard from various people around the world, all with the same problem, ordered and paid for parts, waiting months and months for delivery, where parts do not arrive, Broemmler Motorsport in Germany for GTR Parts, Koala Furniture in Victoria for Porsche GT3 Parts, Modena Racing for Audi R8 Ultra parts, Stephen Bolton from New Zealand for Mercedes Engine parts, and this last week, Terry Home who has also been added to our long list of recent victims that have lost money dealing with Dominik Bahn and his company Carbostuff Engineering.

If you add our funds along with what Amber Performance is still owed to the list above, it’s a lot of money, if you then add the other huge list of people over the last 2 years, and its beyond theft, or a scam, its fraud on a whopping scale.

As we stated in a blog post from our travels, to Neumunster Germany we found 2 addresses to be Fake, the third address is where the so called Carbostuff business is based and run from, we doubt you will find him there, and although you do have signs of life, with a post box wearing the company name, we didn’t seen anyone at these premises with our four day stay in a local hotel, but if you need to camp outside and wait, then the address details are below.

Carbostuff Engineering, c/o Rudolf-Diesel-Str, 7a 24536 Neumünster, Germany.

Since our last post we have also uncovered Dominik Bahn’s Home address details, which we are more than happy to share with our Motor Trade / Motorsport community, we are sharing because this is happening to more people than we currently know of, so if we can help other fellow petrolhead and enthusiast, then surely that’s a good thing.

Dominik Bahn, Holsatenring 3, 24539 Neumünster, Germany or we have Hermannus-Muller-Weg 1B Neumünster, Germany

These address have been confirmed by a customer that Knows all about Dominik and his whereabouts , he knows him extremely well, from their early days.

Please feel free to send us any information of your own loss, we are working with Peter Folster, from the German Crime Squad, and the more information we give him collectively the better, as we have said previously, this is a very serious fraudulent crime, Carbostuff are earning obscene amounts of money, scamming the enthusiast, its big theft, and it needs to be stopped.

More news has also surfaced over the last couple of weeks with regards Dominik Bahn, so I don't think there will be too much surprise that he is on probation for crimes of theft, for which he has served time in prison, we have the probation officers name that he has to report to.

as we have full details of his Probation helper, we would rather not publish online, but will be more than happy to refer you directly, if you get in touch with us.

Please circulate this blog post, as we may just stop this criminal once and for all.
