Audi TT 8N Wide Body

We are pleased to announce to our wide body aero programme the Audi TT 8n kit. to say we have been after this little beauty for a while is an understatement.

It’s been around for a while, but it took us a while to source and confirm the manufacturer, and our hard inspector Clueso work has paid off.

We love the MK1 (8N)Audi TT Chassis, and as we have owed a few we know all about the little Audi diamond, its most definitely the better TT option, and with this kit added into the mix, it’s even more of must have back as the daily driver.

The kit consists of, front bumper, front splitter, wider front fenders, side skirts, wider rear quarter panels, rear bumper with built in diffuser, and to finish off, a lovely little ducktail boot spoiler.

The TT attached is holding up a set Loma wheel in 19”, with a 10” front wheel and an 11” rear wheel, but as always we see room for improvement in the way of width and offset, but it’s a great base to start the wheel build from.

Mazda Miata / MX5 ND Hard Top

With the all new Mazda, MX5 / Miata hitting the streets over the last few months, there has been a steady supply of aftermarket styling and tuning goodies that have hit the scene, the standouts for us are the Aimgain and the Rocket Bunny Pandem wide body aero kits, they hit the sweet spot, and although we are completely over the bolt on fender look, they really do suit the lines of the new little Mazda ND.

As we are always on the lookout for new products, we were amazed to come across this little gem. The new ND comes as a soft top option only for now, for some that’s a put off, but now you have an option, agreed its won’t be a cheap option, but its dry carbon and it weights 3.8kg, … now that we like the sound of.

The shape takes some getting used to, but you have to remember, this has been produce for racing, where helmet headroom is essential, we love the channel down the middle, and the slight raised profile that sits either side, it’s a must for the light weight carbon petrol head, that owes the new ND chassis, and loves the form and function, it really doesn’t get any better than this for Mazda's little ND chassis, we certainly dont think so.

Over the last 12 months we have regularly been asked to source and supply aero parts from Japan for the Japanese sports car line up, and looking at all the goodness that was being asked for, we would have been extremely silly not to get it listed on our website, it something we have looked at for a while, and always put it off, mainly because of the size of the task, of listing all the parts, but we have been given a gentle push from customers to get off our butt and get it all online.

So what are you likely to see being added over the next couple of weeks, there is such a selection we couldn't possibly list it all, so we will upload a small selection of what we can get our hands on, for example, a small selection from Rocket Bunny will be added, but we can get the complete range, along with the likes of, Aimgain, Varis, Voltex, Kuhl Racing, VITT, to name a few, they all offer a great selection of parts in carbon and good ole FRP, and all offer something a little different, we just won’t be listing the complete range from every manufacturer, just a nice selection, and if you cant find what you are looking for, just ask the question, if it’s made in Japan, and its available, we can source for you.
