Back in November we showcased new forged magnesium wheel design from GT3RR, which is a little homage to the OZ F1 wheel design and they have been making little detail changes over the last few weeks to make it exactly how they want the final design to look, and we are happy to report the wheel is ready to machine and to say we are excited is an understatement.

Our BMW Z4 GT3 V8 will be one car that this wheel design will be fitted to, 11x19 and 13x19 combo with the Matt black centre and Gloss black barrels, we are very much looking forward to see this wheel on our finished Z4 GT3. Another couple of builds we have going on that will also be fitted with F1R will be a fresh UK Speedwells Supra build in White and a Nissan GTR GT3 build that’s happening in Texas, both wheel sets ups are going to really enhance the look of this design, with huge lips and maximum concave, which is going to look incredible.

GT3RR forged magnesium F1-R, also available in forged aluminum

The sizes for this design are the usual 3 piece wheel sizes, 18” 19” 20” 21” 22” and 24” will also be added to the size list if required, all widths, colours and applications will be available, including centre lock and bespoke builds, building something crazy and would like this wheel design, lets discuss your requirements in detail.

The design is available in both forged magnesium and forged aluminium, for the people looking for the ultimate lightweight wheel the magnesium forged wheel will not disappoint, it’s really is incredibly light weight and can be used on the track or the street.

We are happy to be supporting such a high quality brand and product, get in touch with us for more details on this wonderful design.

We can honestly say we have no idea where Iby gets time to work on his projects as well as the hectic workload of working life, with the Porsche Turbo R undergoing some serious engine modifications which should see it pushing out the best part of 700bhp + with the new Turbo & ECU upgrade not to mention all of the other goodies the engine has been treated too, it should now have the huge performance to match those aggressive but stunning looks, let’s face it the 997 Turbo in factory form isn't slow by any means, so just imagine with an extra 200 + HP, this is going to be one incredibly brutal Porsche 997.

To complete the rest of the upgrades, with a fresh enhancement to the suspension being completed, with a bespoke set of Bilstein PSS10 coilovers that have been built to GT3R specification, such a fantastic addition to how this 997 will look & drive, all being well it should be sitting on the Bilstein stand at the Performance show at the NEC Birmingham in January 2019, so if you haven’t seen this car in up close and personal we strongly suggest you head to the show, it will be worth it just to see this beauty.

Not content with one project car on the go Iby also has the Datsun 280ZX and a few months back we did a blog post on the start of the build, and we are happy to report it has progressed a little further, it has sat around for a while whist the GT3R has got most of the attention, but with a slot booked in at Perfection Midlands body shop, the ZX was treated to some extremely sexy paint work.

The interior of the shell was treated to some matte black, with a nice contrasting gloss red on the roll bar, it’s a combo that looks amazing against the all new pearl white paint work which has been lavished on the external panels, and believe us when we say pictures don’t do this finish any justice.

With the Datsun painted the next job will be to treat the underside of the shell to some extra protection and then Iby can start to add the suspension set up and get the Lexus V8 Turbo engine sitting where it should be, as well as fixing the extended riveted over fenders in place, after they have had their coat of gloss black paint.

Its great seeing this build take some shape, and we will of course be sharing the build progress over the coming months, this is going to be one serious looking Datsun, with form and function.

Over the last few months we have had lots of requests for the smaller diameter custom manufactured 2 & 3 piece wheels, especially for the popular 4x100 / 4x114.3 / 4x108 PCD’s and we have had an enjoyable few weeks sourcing the world’s finest, we looked at all manufacturers around the world, but we want to go back to where our love affair with building custom wheels started, Japan, where quality is more important than quantity.

We already have these wheels listed on our website, but we want to highlight the fact they offer these beauties in the smaller sizes for all of the 4 stud PCS’s with 16” and 17” available in most widths and applications, with some really cool finishes available, how about these paint shades, Cocktail Grape, Cherry Pink, Caribbean Blue & Sunset Orange, as well as the normal Ice Silver and Matt black shades that are also available on request.

The two designs are from the AME old school range, the mesh and the star which are simple designs, simple names with maximum statement, they both look pretty slick in the small size with the deep rim, they are both available for our R56 & F56 Mini conversions, as we fit 9x17 low negative offset front and rear to the R56 with an 18” set up for the F56 Chassis

So if you are in the market for a 16” 17” custom manufactured 3-piece wheel then look no further than these pair of little stunner's, get in touch with us for further details
