The R programme for the Porsche is a pretty special race car, we have always preferred the look over the RSR look, it’s the more wider aggressive look and in 997 guise we didn't think it would get any better, that was until Porsche decided to hit us with the very latest 2019 spec R package for the 991 chassis and boy oh boy it’s pretty spectacular.

When the R was first released for the 991.1 it was nice but for us the 997 was still a better look, when the did the upgrade for the 991.2 in 2016 it really grabbed our attention, so much that we added the aero to our line-up, but we still preferred the older 991.2 R look, but with the all new release of the 2019 R package Porsche have just knocked it straight out the part … its quite phenomenal.

This R has taken on a completely different look to the older 991 generations, with a complete make over from front to rear, and we absolutely love the vents that adorn the top of the front fenders, as well as the rear quarter inlets and the rear bumper is just sublime, Porsche you have done it again and created yet another master piece.

In true wide body fashion, the conversion consists of the usual parts:

Front bumper, bumper canards, front floor with splitter, front fenders, side skirts, rear quarter panels, rear bumper, rear diffuser, rear ducktail engine cover and the optional rear wing assembly.

There are all the extra parts available like the flat bottom floor, light weight carbon cup doors, Kevlar arch liners front and rear, carbon roof, carbon front vented bonnet.

This is one 991 we cannot wait to put together, get in touch with us for details on this amazing aero conversion for your Porsche 991 chassis.

After so much success with our Porsche 997 GT3R programme, it made sense for us to progress on to the 991 chassis and we are pretty excited with the last few months organising all of the parts we have available, lets face it the "R is the pinnacle, its the crème de la crème. Apart from the amazing carbon fibre body work, we have also been adding to this programme so we have all of the right parts available for the conversion, just as we have had for the 997 programme.

This year will see one of our dreams come to fruition, that dream was seeing our wide body Porsche GT3R for the 997 chassis as a road going conversion on UK roads, we have seen a few road creations come to life around the world from aero kits we have supplied, but there is nothing like a home grown build and collaboration with our friend Iby from speedwells has seen that dream come to life, seeing the build stage by stage has been exciting, but being based on the Turbo model it was always going to be a bit of a challenge, but huge credit to Iby as he has been very methodical in his thinking for this build, with some lovely touches, which is what a build like this needs.

Supplying our aero parts around the world we get to meet and link up with like-minded people through our social media network and that’s just what happened with Joe AKA #997turbocab, to say Joe is a Porsche fan is a little bit of an understatement, check out his Instagram, our personal Favorite is his 997.2 GT3 4.0LTR build by the BBI team, and now he has commissioned them to build his latest Porsche, The 991 GT3R in road going form, and yes you read that correct, Joe has ordered and had delivered every carbon fibre “R” panel for his street going 991 GT3 and boy oh boy are we excited to see this one come together.

We don’t think BBI need any introduction, they are known throughout the world building some pretty special Porsche's, and this build I'm sure will be up there as one of the best, what we do know is this is the first of its kind globally, and Joe will be using on the road as much as he can, in his own words, this is going to be his grocery getter, its one build we are really exciting thinking about, we think BBI Autosport are going to break the Internet with this one.
