New to our line up from the Avant Garde cast range is the M610 / M615 / M621 / M652 from the Advanced Rim Technology (ART) line up.
Available for most 5 stud applications in staggered widths in sizes 19” and 20” with 11x20 and 12x20 also available as an option in deep concave profile, with the normal AG finish options available on request.
The A.R.T line up combines the usual monoblock cast wheel technology, but with a spin forming technology to drastically improve the material property and strength of the wheel.
The A.R.T process impacts the micro structure of aluminum by utilising three hydraulic rollers to apply pressure to form the inner rim area. The rollers move down the barrel applying pressure to compress, stretch, and form the entire wheel barrel producing optimal weight savings while improving material strength. This process actually alters the grain of the aluminum to produce a wheel barrel that is significantly lighter with enhanced strength comparable to fully forged wheels. A.R.T helps also reduce the weight up to 25% when compared to a normal standard cast wheel through this finer and more even aluminum structure. M615 weights for 20” sizes start at 23 lbs/wheel.
