The VAD EVO-R

The ever popular VAD EVO has been one of our best selling wheels in the 1 monoblock line up especially for the Range Rover marquee, The sport clientele seem to love the look and simplicity of the design, the multi piece has also been a popular edition to the 3 piece line up with the deep concave profile, and the vast range of widths, offsets and finishes, so it was only a matter of time before we introduced the design in its 2 piece duoblock configuration, the EVO-R.

The main reason for the introduction is the fact that you get the same look at the monoblock 1 piece, with the benefit of the 3 piece widths and offsets, plus the added bonus of the deep concave look the duoblock offers, as the deep concave profile is what is in demand.

For now we are only offer the 2 piece in the 22” & 24” sizes, with the other sizes appearing later this year.

Aspect-GT

It’s been a while in the making, but we are finally pleased to announce the guys over at Aspect GT have finally launched their GT website, and opened up the facility in Upper Heyford, Oxon to the public and have some pretty epic products in the works, that will all be hitting the market at some point in 2016.

Those that follow the VAD builds & news will know all about the Ferrari 458 GT3 Curseive that was built for Mikael Persbrandt as it was well documented, and as the guys over at Aspect GT put a lot of effort in especially with the O.E.M fit and finish for the project, its only fair we give the guys a shout out, most race cars don’t have the luxury of decent panel gap or good fitment, but the Aspect GT conversions are all about the quality and end result, which is simply stunning, they may look like the race car but they are very different machines, as with any enhancement on the elite sports cars, the most important factor is an O.E quality finish, the detail and creativity are mind blowing on all of these conversions.

We have already touched based last week on one conversion they will constructing, the mighty BMW Z4 Nuke that takes all its brutish looks from its GT3 track cousin, but they are adding a bit ofspice by installing a V8 to make sure it has the noise and the get up and go for that epic carbon fibre wide body.

In production at the moment and currently taking orders is their Ultra-R wide body aero pack for Audi’s range topping R8, its loosely based on the original Ultra R8 LMS / GT3 race car, but built for road application, so the usual high quality fit & finish will apply, but if you do fancy a track day or two the guys inform us that all of their aero kits are built for track day abuse, so you get the best of both worlds.

BMW (E89) Z4 GT3 V8

It's been in the planning stages for a while, but with other commitments on other projects its had to take a back shelf, and it’s always last on the list for any company demonstration vehicle, and this is some build that the guys over at Aspect GT are taking on, it one pretty awesome project, and one we are looking forward at following.

One of the main plans for this build apart from the carbon wide body, is to ditch the BMW 3.0 straight six engine and install a mighty thumping V8, so it will have the grunt and the burble to go with those muscular looks of the GT3 Style aero pack the Aspect boys are fitting.

Now this is the part the BMW Purists wont like, its won’t be the BMW V8 that sits in the M5 or the M3, but the LS3, possibly the LS7 is the budget will stretch to it, and although it won’t be a popular engine conversion for some, it’s sure to turn heads, i know it’s one conversion we can’t wait to see, still a lot of work to do, and the Aspect boys keeping the colour, final engine, wheel & suspension spec very close to their chest, we will keep you posted on developments as they happen.
